Robin, the sidekick!

Well, Dan & I just got back from Chicago - I was working a trade show and he came along to keep me company (and get away from the boys for a while, but shhh, don't tell them!)

Mom mom came down with Abby to watch them for the week for us - I think they had a great time! But I had no idea my mom turned them into Batman, and as pictured below, his sidekick Robin!!

P.S. - Picture above taken AFTER Nana left our house...not during her care!

5 years ago today...

Today is our 5 year anniversary. 5 years ago, I married the man of my dreams…and its only gotten better since…

So to quote Dan, from an awesome card he sent me this morning, from a float trip to two boys, my life is complete. (Well, honey…I still haven’t totally made up my mind on that third kiddo!! Wink!)

In honor of our 5 years married, here are the top 5 reasons why I love you:

1. I was stinky and dirty when you met me (hey, we were on a float trip) and you fell in love with me anyway.
2. You are one of the most determined and dedicated people I know. Loyal, that’s the word I’m looking for.
3. When I am mad at you, you do something silly/stupid to make me laugh.
4. Your eyes.
5. You show me all the time what an awesome husband and father you are – our boys are lucky to be able to be home and spend so much time with their dads (and in case you haven’t noticed, they try to be like you all the time – the greatest compliment of all!). You support me in my career, you put up with my quirks, and I love you more now than ever!

What's wrong with my little boy?????

So, instead of blogging lately, I've been COUPONING!

Talk about a rush - yes I realize this is lame!! Target is one of my favorites right now - did you know you can use a Target coupon and a manufactures coupon? I didn't!

And K-Mart has double coupons right now!!

So, tonight, for a grand totoal of $66 (in 4 transactions), Jackson & I got (he was a great sport through the whole trip!). My total before coupons was almost $200!!!!

Just in case you can't see all of it, some of the highlights are: 4 packs of Huggies Pull Ups, 3 boxes of Hugges wipes, 7 boxes of cereal, 2 packages of Chinette plates, 2 bottles of mouth rinse, 1 box of zip lock bag, 3 packages of disposable razors, 3 different cleaners, 3 things of deoderant, 5 things of lotion, Excederine 2 things of tooth paste, 2 packages of Juicy Juice drink boxes, 1 thing of V-8 fusion, 2 things of shampoo, 6 different packages of dog treats, and 1 gallon of Nursery water (hey, it was free after coupons!)
